At D.S. Parrott Middle School, we are intentional about developing the whole child. We provide a rigorous academic foundation through standards-aligned instruction, advanced coursework, and data-driven support, while also offering meaningful opportunities for students to explore interests, leadership, and future career pathways.
Our diverse elective offerings allow students to discover passions and build real-world skills. These include Orientation to Careers, Culinary Arts, STEM, Chorus, Band, Garden Club, and Beta Club, along with a growing Career & Technical Education program, highlighted by our Agriscience and TV Production pathways. Students are encouraged to learn by doing, collaborate with peers, and connect their learning to life beyond the classroom.
Leadership development is a cornerstone of our school culture through our Leader in Me program, where students build habits of responsibility, goal-setting, teamwork, and service. These skills empower students to lead both in and out of the classroom.
Our media center is a thriving hub of learning, collaboration, and creativity. New this year, students are proudly participating in Battle of the Books, further fostering a love of reading, critical thinking, and teamwork.
