Students in the Entrepreneurship & Marketing program will be exploring concepts such as employee vs entrepreneur, the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, the four P's of marketing, leadership, business financials, business ethics, and more. Students in the Entrepreneurship program will study to test and take the Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) industry certification. If successfully passed, this industry certification will earn the student three (3) college credits, as well as, a high school credit for successfully completing the class. Students in the marketing program will be participating in a program called, Virtual Enterprises (VE), which teaches a plethora of business skills with the ultimate goals of starting and running a virtual business that exists within the VE network and does business with other VE enterprises throughout he country. All students will build skills in different Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Students will also work in programs such as Canva to design different marketing pieces. In this program, the real world of business is introduced to students within the safety of the school setting and will develop skills that will directly translate into the workplace post-high school.
